HAAS Alert Responder-to-Responder (R2R™) Service

Intersection collisions between responding units are among the most dangerous events in emergency response. The R2R™ Service adds responder-to-responder alerting to a Safety Cloud®-connected vehicle: when Safety Cloud detects that two responding vehicles are converging on the same intersection or crossing paths, it flashes the in-cab R2R LED indicators in both vehicles before the drivers can see each other. This subscription activates R2R alerting on one vehicle for the term you choose.

Key Features & Upfitter Specs

• Responder-to-Responder Alerts: Cloud-based conflict detection between Safety Cloud-equipped vehicles that are actively responding.
• Nuisance-Free Logic: Parallel and platooning vehicles (units running together on the same route) are excluded so alerts only fire on a real crossing-path conflict.
• Hardware Driven: Alerts are displayed through the HAAS Alert R2R LED Indicator Kit connected to the HA-7's R2R port. No screens or apps to watch.
• Per-Vehicle, Per-Term: One subscription covers one vehicle. Subscriptions are annual and invoiced upon activation.

Choosing Your Options

• Service Term: Match the term to the vehicle's Safety Cloud Service so both renew together. 1 Year for annual budgeting, 3 Year for a standard replacement cycle, or 5 Year for the lowest effective annual rate.

Requires an active HAAS Alert Safety Cloud Service subscription, a HAAS Alert HA-7 Transponder, and the R2R LED Indicator Kit.
