How It's Programmed
The BluePRINT system is configured using the intuitive BluePRINT Central™ software. An installer connects a laptop and uses a simple drag-and-drop interface to assign functions to each button, create complex light flash patterns, and set up automated rules (e.g., "if the vehicle's speed exceeds 50 mph, switch to a more aggressive lighting pattern"). This allows for complete customization to an agency's specific needs.
How It's Installed
Installation is significantly faster and simpler than traditional wiring. The central module is installed in a secure location, and all compatible SoundOff products connect to it via a simple, thin data cable network. This "plug-and-play" architecture drastically reduces installation time, labor costs, and potential points of failure.
Benefits for Police & First Responders
The system greatly enhances officer safety and situational awareness. It enables hands-free operation by allowing officers to use existing vehicle controls, like the horn ring or steering wheel buttons, to cycle through siren tones or lighting patterns. Automation can handle routine tasks, such as activating alley lights when a door is opened or turning off rear warning lights when the trunk is popped, letting the officer focus on the situation at hand.
