Eliminate the deadliest blind spot in urban pursuits with the Whelen Mirror-Beam Series for the Ford Police Interceptor Utility (PIU). The split second a patrol vehicle noses into a blind intersection is incredibly dangerous. Standard forward-facing lighting cannot warn cross-traffic until the entire front of the vehicle is exposed. The Mirror-Beam solves this by projecting an intense ION Super-LED warning signal outward from the side mirrors. Because the mirrors are the widest point of the vehicle, this eye-level flash is visible to approaching drivers instantly, preventing catastrophic T-bone collisions.
