When outfitting a modern patrol SUV or a commercial fleet vehicle, finding space for highly visible warning lights is a constant struggle. The Whelen ION is the industry's answer. This incredibly compact, ruggedized lighthead projects a devastatingly bright warning signal that easily punches through adverse weather. Engineered with a fully encapsulated, waterproof housing, it is equally capable of surviving the brutal environment of an exterior push bumper or being stealthily mounted inside a grille.

- Intense Super-LED Optics: Available in precise directional (TIR) or wide-angle configurations, utilizing advanced Super-LED technology to project an unmistakable SAE Class 1 warning signal.
- Extreme Durability: The internal electronics are 100% potted in heavy-duty epoxy, making the ION completely impervious to high-pressure washing, extreme winter salt, and intense road vibration.
- Scan-Lock Patterns: Features dozens of integrated Scan-Lock flash patterns (up to 69 on split-color models), allowing operators to perfectly synchronize the unit with existing vehicle warning arrays.
- Versatile Mounting: Choose the universal mount (pedestal, clip, edge, or adhesive hardware included) for mirrors, grilles, or roof racks, or the surface mount version with an integrated black flange that screws directly onto flat body panels, push bumpers, and headache racks.
- Low Amp Draw: Highly efficient solid-state design draws less than half an amp, allowing fleet technicians to run massive arrays of IONs without overloading the vehicle's electrical system.
