Choosing Your Options

Siren Tone: Single Tone runs one 100-watt speaker and covers most patrol work. Dual Tone adds a second speaker and amplifier capacity so the vehicle can play two siren tones at once — two tones cut through traffic noise better and are easier for drivers to locate. Choose Dual Tone for highway or dense urban duty.
Control Head: This is the panel the officer touches every shift, so pick the style your officers find most natural. Rotary Knob steps through siren and light stages with a twist knob, which many officers find faster to operate without looking down. Button is a flat panel of push buttons that mounts on the console — easy to label and easy to hit in a hurry. Handheld puts the controls on a corded remote, which frees up console space in tight interiors.
Vehicle: Select your vehicle and we include the correct plug-in vehicle cable and the correct speaker mounting bracket(s) automatically. Dodge Durango Pursuit and Ford Expedition SSV use Whelen's CANport vehicle-specific cable; all other listed vehicles use the SCANport OBD cable.
Low Frequency (optional add-on): Adds a Whelen Howler bass siren, with the correct mounting bracket for your vehicle, that you can feel as well as hear. The low tones shake through closed windows, loud stereos, and intersections where a normal siren gets ignored. A popular add for urban agencies.
Vehicle to Vehicle Sync (optional add-on): Lets multiple equipped vehicles flash their lights in step with each other at a scene. A synced scene looks organized and is easier for drivers to read than a jumble of competing flash patterns. Skip it if your units rarely stage together.
Whelen Vehicle Safety Gateway (optional add-on): Whelen's connected safety module is included at no additional charge when selected. It enables digital alerting and fleet safety features through Whelen Cloud Platform.
