Fully encapsulated, solid-state electronics in a glass-filled nylon housing make these alarms steam-cleanable, pressure-washable, and ready for years of duty on plow trucks, spreaders, utility bodies, and heavy equipment.

- Self-Adjusting Output: Choose from four ranges — 77-97 dB, 77-102 dB, 82-107 dB, or 87-112 dB — and the alarm automatically tracks ambient noise so it is always loud enough to be heard, never louder than it needs to be.
- Durability: Fully encapsulated solid-state electronics in a rugged glass-filled nylon housing. Steam-cleanable and pressure-washable for salt spreaders, refuse trucks, and wash-bay fleets.

- Alarm Volume: 77-97 dB (P/N BU7797) suits general fleet and municipal trucks. 77-102 dB (BU77102) adds headroom for street sweepers and refuse. 82-107 dB (BU82107) covers high-noise construction sites and 12-48 VDC equipment. 87-112 dB (BU87112) is the choice for mining, quarry, and the loudest environments.
- Wiring: Stud Terminals give a serviceable, ring-terminal connection upfitters prefer on equipment that gets rewired. Wire Leads (the "L" models) splice straight into the reverse-lamp circuit for the fastest install.
Pair any of these alarms with the Whelen Backup Alarm Switch (BUSW1) when the application calls for operator control.
