- Dual-Stage Auger System: Features a transverse auger that violently breaks up frozen salt chunks before feeding them into a secondary longitudinal auger, completely preventing the hopper from jamming.
- Polyethylene Hopper: The massive, thick-walled poly hopper is completely immune to the corrosive effects of liquid brine and rock salt, ensuring decades of reliable service without rusting.
- Independent Motor Control: Equipped with two fully sealed 1/3 HP electric motors, allowing the operator to control the auger feed rate and the spinner speed independently from the cab.
- Heavy-Duty Mounting: Installs using a massive Class IV 2-inch receiver hitch mount, completely eliminating the need to drill into the truck bed or tailgate while supporting massive payloads.
- Inverted V Baffle: Includes a heavy-duty steel inverted V baffle inside the hopper that relieves the massive weight of the salt from crushing down on the auger, reducing motor strain and preventing bridging.
