Western Pre-Wet & Liquid Application Systems
Pre-wetting activates rock salt so it starts melting at lower temperatures and stays on the pavement, and direct liquid application lets the same spreader anti-ice with brine before the storm. WESTERN TRI-SHIELD systems bolt to the hopper with the tanks, pump and spray manifold sized to the hopper, and the Tornado / Striker pump and tank kits build the same capability onto those units. - MARAUDER: 50 gal TRI-SHIELD pre-wet and DLA systems for 0.7 yd³ compact and 1.5 / 2.2 yd³ hoppers, 200 gal system for 3-5 yd³ hoppers, and a 100 gal expansion kit.
- Tornado / Striker: On/off and full-feature pump systems, 50 and 100 gal tank kits, and the legacy poly hopper adapter harness.
- Benefit: Activates de-icer at lower temperatures, cuts bounce and scatter, and enables brine anti-icing.
