Modern patrol and utility vehicles are loaded with power-hungry electronics—mobile data terminals, radios, and lightbar controllers—that can rapidly drain a battery if left on after the engine shuts down. The ChargeGuard acts as an intelligent gatekeeper between the battery and the equipment. By continuously monitoring the vehicle's ignition state and battery voltage, it automatically provides power when the engine is running and safely cuts power after a programmable delay when the vehicle is turned off.
