Early-season flurries and late-season storms on soft ground are where a conventional cutting edge does the most damage. The BOSS Turf Defender bolts over the cutting edge and replaces its aggressive bite with a rounded profile, so the plow floats over turf, gravel drives and paver lots and moves the snow instead of the landscaping. Standard kits fit most residential and light-commercial work; the heavy-duty versions add thicker stock for fleets that plow gravel lots all season.
Key Features & Upfitter Specs
- Coverage: Kits for 7'6" to 10' DXT, XT and Power-V V-plows, all HTX-V sizes, and 7' to 9' straight blades.
- Grades: Standard and heavy-duty versions for the 8'2" and 9'2" DXT and XT; the 10' DXT kit is heavy-duty only.
- Surface Protection: Rounded leading edge prevents trenching into grass, gravel and decorative surfaces.
- Quick Swap: Bolts over the existing cutting edge and comes off in minutes once the ground freezes.
- Hardware: Fastener kits sold separately under Boss Plow Hardware & Fastener Kits.
